Mudroom Clutter

I don't know about you but our mudroom has shoes piled up high that some days we could barely open the door.  Our entryway is also very small and narrow.  I have been searching high and low for a nice show rack but instead I stumbled upon a shoe cabinet that I think might do the trick. It's narrow but might fit our small space. What do you think?

Cereal Dispenser For Dog Food

I wish there was a simpler way to dispense dog food.  I have two dogs and everyday we feed them twice. I found this cereal dispenser, which might just do the job.  I am contemplating if I should order it or not. I think it would come in handy to dispense the dog food. What do you think?

DIY Growth Chart

I was intrigued by all the growth charts that were posted on Pinterest and thought why couldn't I make Jacob one. Keep in mind that I'm not very handy and I have barely stepped foot into a lumber store.

Off I went into Lowe's looking for a decently priced piece of wood, some stain and a permanent marker. After wondering for awhile, I found what I needed and I was ready to tackle the task at hand. I used instructions from this site.

Here's how my growth chart turned out. Not too shabby at all!

I plan on taking a picture and glueing it to the ruler with modge podge for each year of his birthday. If you simply want to buy a similiar growth chart. I found one on Amazon.
